Website Case Study: Redesign The String Class Website

Website Case Study: Redesign The String Class Website

Overview

The String Class is a Bangkok music school that teaches guitar, bass, ukulele, piano and drums. Lessons take place at the student's home, live online, or at one of two studio branches (Victory Monument and Tiwanon Junction). Digital Agency Bangkok redesigned thestringclass.com so that students and parents can find the right course, meet the teachers and register for a trial lesson from one clear, fast website.

The Challenge

A school with many instruments, three learning formats and a team of different teachers can easily overwhelm a website. A prospective student needs to see which courses exist and whether lessons can come to their home. They also want to know who the teachers are and how to sign up. Parents choosing lessons for a child look for the same reassurance. The school also needed to publish new courses, teacher profiles and blog articles itself, without waiting on a developer each time.

Project Goals

Our goals were to present every course clearly and to build trust through teacher introductions. We wanted registration to take only a few minutes, and we wanted visitors to find the studio locations and travel directions easily. The site also had to load quickly on mobile and give the school team a simple way to manage its own content.

Our Solution

A Redesigned Website

We rebuilt the site around the way students actually choose lessons. The homepage opens with a clear promise of one-to-one lessons at home, online or in the studio. It then moves through why students choose the school, the course range, the registration form, the teacher team and the blog.

Web forms

tsc form

A trial lesson registration form sits directly on the homepage, with dedicated registration pages for courses and trial lessons. The form collects what the school needs to follow up: name, email, phone number and LINE ID. It also asks for the preferred learning format (home, live online, or either studio branch), the instrument of interest, a preferred start date and time slot, and the student's goals or favourite music styles. Because each question is easy to answer, visitors can finish the form quickly, and the school receives enough detail to arrange a first lesson without repeated back-and-forth.

Online course

tsc online course

Online learning has its own dedicated page that explains the one-to-one live lessons held over video call. This lets students outside the home-visit zones, or those with a busy schedule, see that they can learn from anywhere.

Teacher introductions

Each instrument has teachers with individual profile pages, collected in a dedicated introduction section. Students and parents can see who will be teaching them before they book. A separate page invites new music teachers to apply to join the team.

Course pages for guitar, ukulele, bass, drums and piano (including separate Bangkok and Khon Kaen pages) each describe the lesson style and who the course suits, so visitors can find their instrument in one click from the main menu.

Website Speed

Music school websites rely on photos, video and many pages, which can slow a site down. We optimized the build so pages load quickly, including the image-heavy course and teacher sections. Fast pages matter most for visitors on mobile data, who often decide within seconds whether to stay and register.

Google Location Map

The school has two studio branches and also teaches at students' homes across many Bangkok areas, so location questions come up constantly. We added Google Maps location links so visitors can find the studio and plan their journey. The site also gives clear directions by BTS and by car, and it lists the home-lesson zones, so students can check coverage before they register.

Results

The redesigned website gives The String Class a single, organized home for its courses, teachers and registration. Visitors can understand the school's offer quickly, choose a format, meet their teacher and send a trial lesson request in one visit. The school team can keep the site fresh on its own through the CMS. The result is a professional website that supports both new student enquiries and the school's continued growth.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What did Digital Agency Bangkok deliver for The String Class?

We redesigned the website with a clear course structure, a trial lesson registration form, a dedicated online course page and teacher introduction pages. We also added Google location maps, optimized site speed and set up a content management system the school team can use themselves.

Why is a web registration form important for a music school?

It turns interest into action at the moment a visitor feels it. By asking for the preferred learning format, instrument, start date and goals in one form, the school can reply with a suitable trial lesson time without a long exchange of messages.

How does the teacher introduction section help students and parents?

Learning an instrument is personal, and trust matters, especially when a teacher visits the student's home or teaches a child. Individual teacher profiles let families see who will teach them before they book.

Why does the website include a Google location map?

The School has studio branches and home-lesson zones. A map and clear directions let visitors judge quickly whether the studio is convenient for them and whether home lessons are available in their area.

Can the school update the website without a developer?

Yes. The site is built on a content management system (WordPress with Elementor), so the team can add teachers, edit course details and publish blog posts themselves. Digital Agency Bangkok remains available for maintenance and larger changes.
